Flankers, Support Staff, and Board Members
Our team couldn't run properly without the help of our Flankers and Support Staff. Flankers are team members who are certified in search and rescue and who complete the same trainings as our handlers. They serve as the navigators, radio operators, and "wingmen" (or women!) for our K9 teams so our handlers can focus solely on their dogs. Our support staff can be dedicated hiders, board members, members of the executive committee, or folks who help us with fundraising, serving food during searches, etc. If you have a passion for SAR and would like to be part of the team, please contact us!

Public Relations Coordinator/Flanker/Base Support
Hello! I abolutely love being a part of Kitsap County Search Dogs. As a support staff member who is NOT part of a dog team, I get to do a little bit of everything. As a flanker, I help the handler stay safe while they focus on their dog and navigate for them. As base, I help keep track of the teams and relay messages as needed.
